GIVING OUR CHILDREN THE GIFT OF LIFE

Our education systems are progressing and so are we; latest technologies, advancements and progress to the latest teaching learning techniques. We as the well – wishers of the young hearts placed in our care want the best for our kids, and that includes the best time and life. Being a teacher, I strongly feel that there is an important aspect to this idea, it being that of the virtues we inculcate in those young minds; an ideology, a truth and a crux to an essentially good living that never goes out of date.
A child needs to have within himself all the goodness and basic virtues we can instil them with, for this is what will give them a firm base for life. A basic understanding of the human nature, empathy, love, forgiveness, dedication, truth, loyalty and respect; all of which helps the child establish a firm belief system, to understand his own self and to find meaning with his life. In a world where life runs at a pace unprecedented, it is of utmost importance that we give our children a platform to build their lives upon; and why not let this platform be, at the first place to be that of quality lifestyle virtues and moral values. Let us give the children love so that they may love their fellow humans, forgiveness so that they understand that we all make mistakes and it is alright, patience to teach them how to handle situations life puts across their path, and dedication so that their hearts may never lose courage and they strive to their fullest potentials, to the most rewarding outcomes. Let us allow our children to find their own selves amidst today’s hectic life, so that they may prosper into intellectuals that have the best of education, the best of virtues and the best of life.
